What you may not know is what I work on. My research is on the September 11th attacks, specifically about their legacy. I study how events are remembered and how that congeals into a shared history. Now, when I mention this to people at dinner parties, because I love to keep things light and fluffy, I get two major responses. The first is people who want to tell me their own flashbulb memories of the day of the attack. Iamp;#39;m okay with this.
