hello this is keith with the georgetown county school district and today im going to show you how to shorten some of those long links now there are several tools out there where you can go to their sites and shorten very long links and even sometimes customize them when you use tools like bitly and it used to be google shortener is something different now and you also have tiny url one of the issues with tinyurl which is a great site to be able to customize your links the student laptops can get to them to student chromebooks as of right now cannot hopefully that will change but in the meantime let me show you this so im going to just paste a long link that i have and instead of pasting that into my google assignment or a doc where youve got a lot of resources listed im just going to come down here and im going to go to and type in just a couple of short words or maybe just even one word and im going to highlight that word now in google docs where i am now google gives you a cou
