Key Design Elements of the FedEx Logo The company's then CEO, Frederick Smith, gave Lindon all the freedom to create a unique brand identity for FedEx. In the revised version of 1994, he retained the former purple logo color, but replaced red with orange.
The FedEx logo looks pretty normal at first glance, so it's easy to miss the hidden message. Look at the space between the E and the x—it's an arrow pointing forward, perhaps to suggest speedy and accurate delivery.
The script color order often starts with white, which is almost always the very first draft. After white usually comes blue, pink, yellow, and green; after these, your colors start becoming more unique, with Goldenrod, Buff, Salmon, and Cherry.
I was perplexed; I didn't know there was a spoon. He quickly gave in and showed us the spoon it is the lower part of the e in Fed. Since that moment, I can see the arrow and the spoon and when I pull up behind a FedEX truck or see a sign, I see them. I have since shared the logo with William, Beth, and others.
It means put the spoon in a safe place, just as you would put a baby into a cradle.
FedEx began using secondary colors other than orange in the late 1990s after it diversified beyond the express business into trucking-only offerings. Domestic parcel delivery company FedEx Ground's logo is purple and green, for example, while less-than-truckload company FedEx Freight is purple and red.
To give you an idea of the screenplay revision tips I'm going to cover, here's a list: Show once, don't tell. Begin a scene with motion. Be careful with quirks. Exit at the high point. Embrace the interjection. Setup isn't always critical. Everyone gets a turn. Reevaluate your flashbacks.
It's a brilliant way for the company to distinguish its various operating units. For instance, orange represents FedEx Express, Red stands for FedEx Freight, and the green represents FedEx Ground. FedEx Corporation was established as a package delivery business in 1971.
Revision mode is a tool you use once your script is in production (or darn close). The purpose of it is to lock a Film & TV script during production; so Scene 1 remains Scene 1 and Scene 100 remains Scene 100, regardless of whether you added or deleted a few scenes in between.
Recommended for use on light backgrounds, the logo should appear in FedEx Purple, FedEx Light Platinum, FedEx Light Gray or black. On dark-colored backgrounds, use the one-color reverse format.
