You can’t make document alterations more convenient than editing your SDW files on the web. What does the clean up folder option do?

The Outlook Clean Up Folder is a built-in Microsoft Outlook feature that removes redundant messages in a thread or folder. Redundant messages in this case means the previous messages in an email thread that are continuously quoted in the replies causing you to scroll longer than necessary.

How do I clean my junk storage?
