hi everyone its melissa from welcome to the woods in my most recent video i redid a vintage hutch that we got from my husbands grandma the transformation was so radical i took it from orange and outdated and ornate to its original finish which was solid maple a beautiful light colored wood with few blemishes and a mediterranean colored paint on the inside if you missed this furniture flip you can find it in the description on this video one thing that happened when i stripped and sanded the maple was that i could not get all of the stain out of the wood pores sometimes when a piece is stained and especially when its stained on softer wood the stain seeps so deeply into the pores that even after stripping and standing standing sanding you have blotchy areas of stain remaining this happened on the hutch that i redid and it drove me crazy because i sanded with so many different grit sandpapers but still i could not get all the orange pulled out this led me to researching bleach and bl
