Changing the size and position of your Dock on a Mac Right below the size slider, you will find a Position on screen option. Tap it to choose between Left, Bottom, and Right. Voila! Now the application Dock on your Mac will have the size and position you prefer.
Click the Dock Menu Bar icon in the preference pane. Make sure Dock Menu Bar is selected in the sidebar, and under Menu Bar, uncheck the box next to Automatically hide and show the menu bar in full screen.
Resize to an exact height and width Select the picture, shape, WordArt, or other object to resize. Method 1. Deactivate Auto-hide Dock Go to System Preference. Click on the Apple logo at the top left corner of your screen, and from the drop-down, click on System Preferences to open the options. Select Dock and Menu Bar. Our focus is on the Dock and Menu bar options. Uncheck Auto-hide.
