[Music] hello everyone how are you doing this is MD - thank you another quick tutorial today Im going to show you guys how to change author information on your Microsoft Word document so if youre noticing if you go underneath the file tab that theres an author listed here and you want to either delete the existing author and changes to someone else this is where it will be for you so its gonna be pretty straightforward and all you have to do is just left click on add an author button right here will give you the option to add an author so Im going to just come up with a name here which say Steve and then Im gonna hit enter you might have to create a new content here so just click on new content and then just type in C if you dont give that much information we dont want to and you can see that a new author has been created now once youve created one author you can get rid of another one so if I right click on this author right here and then I can left click on remove person we

Select File Info. Select a property that starts with Add, like Add a title, Add a tag, or Add an author. Enter the information. To see more properties, select Show all properties.
Open any Office app, such as Word, and create a new document. Go to File Account (or Office Account if you opened Outlook). Under Product Information, choose Update Options Update Now. Note: You may need to click Enable Updates first if you dont see the Update Now option right away.
Follow these steps to edit: Go to File Info. Select Protect document. Select Enable Editing.
Turn on Track Changes to show edits made in a document, and use Show Markup to show the types of revisions youd like to display. Select Review Track Changes to turn it on. Make edits in your document and Word captures any edits you make. Select Review Track Changes to turn it off.
Click the Microsoft Office Button, and then click Word Options. Click Display. Click to select the Update fields before printing check box, and then click OK.
To make changes to a document, in the upper-right corner, select Edit Document Edit. If someone else created the document, they might not allow editing. You can go to File Save as, save it with another name, and edit the new document.
How to update only the page number in a table of contents Open the document we want to edit in WPS Writer. Click on the table of contents. Click References tab and then click the Update TOC button. Now a Update Table of Contents small dialog box will pop up. Check Update page numbers only.
Go to References Update Table. Select one of the following: Update page numbers only This only updates the pages that the headings are on, and ignores any changes to the heading text. Update entire table This will reflect any updates to the heading text, as well as any page changes.
If you make changes to your document that affect the table of contents, you can update it by right-clicking the table and selecting Update Table of Contents.
Update all fields in a document Press Ctrl + A. Press F9. If your document has tables with fields or formulas, you might need to select each table separately and press F9.
