You can edit personal info like your birthday and gender. You can also change the email addresses and phone numbers on your account. Sign in to your Google Account. Under Personal info, click the info you want to change.
Add an alternate email address Open your Google Account. You might need to sign in. Select Personal info. Under Contact info, click Email. Next to Alternate emails, select Add alternate email or Add other email. You may need to sign in again. Enter an email address you own. Select Add.
Add Another Email Address To add an email alias, first open your Gmail account. Then, click on Settings, and then select See all settings. From there, just select the Accounts and Import tab. Then, click on Add another email address, which is visible in the Send email as setting.
An alternate email address, also called an email alias, is a forwarding email address that an admin adds to a users primary email address. Messages sent to the email alias automatically route to the users primary email accounts inbox. Tip: Only one user can use an email alias.
You cant change your username or the actual email address. You can only change the name associated with the account. If people have you saved as something else in their contacts, thats the name theyll see. Your new name will only show up in emails you send to them.
Change your picture On your computer, open Gmail. In the top right, tap your profile picture. Tap Manage your Google Account. On your Google Account page, tap Personal info. Under Profile, tap your current profile picture. Follow the on-screen prompts to choose or take a photo. Tap Set Profile Photo.
Within Google, its not possible to change your email address therefore you need to create a new one. To create a new email address, you need to set up a new Gmail account: Step 1. Go to the Google Account creation page.
Step 1: Check if you can change it. On your Android phone or tablet, open your devices Settings app Google. Manage your Google Account. At the top, tap Personal info. Step 2: Change it. Next to your email address, select Edit . Enter the new email address for your account.
Email accounts are easy to set up and theres no limit to how many you can have. Rather than slowing down communication and processes, having more than one email address can actually speed them up.
Most email providers offer email aliases which can let you use separate addresses for the same inbox. For example, a husband and wife sharing the email address smithinspections@gmail.com could also receive emails at smithinspections+john@gmail.com and at smithinspections+jane@gmail.com.
