And these buttons belong to a special library of Material Design Components which is popularly known as MDC. Hi, this is Sriyank Siddhartha and lets start with the demo, right away. Before you start, you must add this MDC dependency in your Gradle file and sync your project. Here within my layout, I have added three buttons and I have assigned them some IDs. Lets start with the first button. Well, to use a Material Button, you need to change this Button to com.google.android.material.button.MaterialButton like this. But there is a catch. If in your Application theme, if you use Theme.MaterialComponents* or any of its variant theme. Then you dont need to use this long XML tag. And instead, you can simply use XML tag over here. And this XML tag will internally call MaterialButton XML
