Sort Numbers in Google Sheets using the Built-in Feature Step 1: Highlight the data range you would like to sort. Step 2: Select Data Sort range Advanced range sorting options. Step 3: Select range sorting parameters. Step 4: Click Sort.

Filter a range of data Select any cell within the range. Select Data Filter. Select the column header arrow . Select Text Filters or Number Filters, and then select a comparison, like Between. Enter the filter criteria and select OK.
Excel provides special number formats for postal codes, Social Security numbers, and phone numbers. If these dont meet your needs, you can create and apply your own custom number format.
