Hello. In this video we are going to speak about how to validate comma-separated values. First, we need to know what kind of pattern we use to match one of the values. In this case, letamp;#39;s try integer numbers. We know that in order to match an entire string, we need to use anchors. Now letamp;#39;s start. The caret symbol will match the start of string, then we match one or more digits, and then we match zero or more occurrences of a comma and one or more digits. And then we match the end of string using the dollar symbol. So this is the pattern that validates strings that only contain comma-separated integer numbers. Look, weamp;#39;ve got all the matches here and we do not match any of these strings. If there can be whitespaces in between the commas, for example, here, here, here, we can add amp;quot;\s*amp;quot; pattern around the comma. This will ensure that even if we have whitespaces on either side of the comma, the string will get validated. Instead of the comma, you

One of the most common CSV import errors is that the file is simply too large. That can be caused by too many fields or records in the file, too many columns, or too many rows. The import error can be caused by limits set by the program using the file or the amount of available memory on the system.
Extra commas in field values Your data may sometimes include a comma within a field value (e.g., if a students last name is Potter, Jr.), and the comma-separated values file will treat the comma as a field separator unless the entire field value is enclosed in double quotation marks.
If you google how to URL encode a comma, youll find things like this. In short, use %2C instead of comma in a URL. That being said, any good URL building library should handle that automatically for you.
Trailing commas Saving an Excel file as a CSV file can create extra commas at the end of each row. Trailing commas can result when columns are deleted or column headers removed. When the file is uploaded to Clever, an extra trailing comma will skew subsequent rows of data, preventing them from being processed.
Answer: While its definitely possible to use commas in URLs, its not a widely used practice, nor is it recommended.
This may be because your data is separated by semicolons instead of commas. In countries such as the US, UK and Australia, the default list separator is a comma, so you get CSV comma delimited. In European countries, a comma is reserved for the decimal symbol, and the list separator is generally set to semicolon.
Select Number from the menu on the left of the Format Cells dialog box that appears. Uncheck the box labeled Use 1000 Separator (,) to prevent Excel from including commas in numbers with four or more decimal digits.
See RTrim(). To remove trailing commas in each row, you would need to loop through them and apply it to each. You could use RegExReplace() to replace all trailing commas in all rows at once.
