hi guys in this video Iamp;#39;m going to show you how you can remove highlights and background colors from pasted text in Microsoft Word and Iamp;#39;m going to tell you three methods that you can use so as you can see I pasted this text from the internet and it has this blue background color on it and I want to remove it so the first method that Iamp;#39;m going to use is that I am going to highlight this entire text then on my keyboard Iamp;#39;m going to select control and space and there we have it the Highlight is removed now this works in different versions of Microsoft Word Iamp;#39;m currently using Microsoft Word 2010 but it will also work in 2013 and 2016 and two other methods that I want to show you if that one that I just showed you didnamp;#39;t work you can highlight the entire text make sure youamp;#39;re on your Home tab then you want to go to the paragraph section and you want to click this little paint pan and then you want to ensure that no color is selected

Add or remove shading in a table Select the cells you want to change. To select an entire table, click in the table, and then click the. On the Table Design tab (Table tab in OneNote), click the Shading menu. Under Theme Colors or Standard Colors, select the shading color you want.
Select the cell or cells you want to modify. Right-click and select Table properties from the menu that appears. The Table Properties dialog box will appear. Click the Cell background color drop-down arrow, then select the desired color.
Add or change the background of a table Click a cell in the table. Go to Table Tools Design, and then in the Table Styles group, click the arrow next to Shading, and then point to Table Background. Click the color that you want, or to choose no color, click No Fill.
Heres how: Select the range of cells that you want to format. Go to Home Format as Table. Pick a table style that has alternate row shading. To change the shading from rows to columns, select the table, under Table Design, and then uncheck the Banded Rows box and check the Banded Columns box.
Change the color of cells, tables, and text boxes On your computer, open a file in one of the following programs: Google Docs. Click the text box or highlight the cells you want to edit.
