However, most of QR codes are black and white. The reason is high contrast. The bigger the differences in color between the background and the data modules are, the better is it to read.
When the background is darker than the QR Codes foreground, its called an inverted Code. These types of Codes typically have a dark background such as black, navy or dark grey. While a few scanners can read an inverted Code, some apps are not able to scan them.
Its important to identify the reasons why your QR Codes dont work. The common issues include poor printing quality, incorrect sizing, and insufficient contrast between the QR Code and its background.
To make your QR Code white, follow these steps: ▶️Click Eyes Change the eye-ball and eye-frame color to white. ▶️Click pattern Change the pattern color to white. ▶️Click Background Choose any contrasting color for the background to make the QR Code visible. White QR Codes are not scannable on light backgrounds!
Do not invert QR Code Colors. We see this mistake a lot. QR codes with a black or dark background and a white or lighter foreground may look great in some design scenarios, but they cant be scanned with all QR Code scanner apps.
QR Codes do not have to be standard black and white in order to be scanned. Adding color is the easiest way to make them lively and draw attention from consumers. You can incorporate your brand or campaign theme depending on the goal or content you want to provide.
