these pulled my rooms together put up in living and dining in my apartment and they are perfect love the material too itamp;#39;s soft and looks warm as well I loved that it came with a pack of two per package so I feel like it was a great value very nice curtain for blackout and Sound Reduction I live on a busy road with not the best sound proofing this does a solid job of helping lower the sound just to keep the house calm at night time they black out very well but I have a sheer curtain in front of it so itamp;#39;s not the biggest feature I was looking for heavy duty curtains had the purple ones photographed in my bedroom last year and they were a gods and the material is smooth and you can tell these will last many years Iamp;#39;ve never washed them but Iamp;#39;m sure dry cleaning would be best to hold the design love these curtains in my bedroom matches my gray theme these curtains are definitely blackout curtains and so cute my Hubs works nights and we needed new curtains

Place the lining on top of the curtain, with both header tapes facing each other. Using the curtain hooks, insert them into the lining tape pockets and then into the bottom pockets of the curtain tape. Pull each curtain hook so the downward arm of the hook lies over the face side of the lining.
Black out linings can be sewn into a curtain like any other lining. You just need to remember to face the fabric side to the window and the coated side to the fabric.
The blackout feature works regardless of the linings direction.
Instructions Measure your existing curtains: Before purchasing supplies, measure the length and width of your curtains. Add blackout fabric to back of curtains: Measure iron-on adhesive and sandwich between curtain and blackout fabric: Pin, apply heat, and press and hold iron: Hang and trim excess:
The accessibility of the top layer is a tad better than that of the interior one. So, keep the most used layer on the front. For example, if youre going to leave the sheer curtains closed most of the time and operate the blackout drapes often, letting sheers go beneath the blackout curtains is more practical.
The coated side of both thermal coated and blackout coated linings must face the glass to maximize UV and mildew resistant properties. Thermal and blackout linings are not machine washable, they may be gently hand washed if necessary and drip dried with coated surfaces facing out.
No, the orientation of curtains, whether facing in or out, does not affect their performance. However, for blackout curtains, the lined side should face the window to ensure optimal light-blocking properties.
Which Way Should a Blackout Blind Face? A blackout blind should have the fabric of the roller hanging down at the back of the blind, or the side closest to the window. This positioning minimises light leakage and ensures a snug fit against the window frame, ensuring you get the most out of your blackout blind.
