UV LED lights are ideal for screen exposures. Photopolymer emulsions are fast and UV LEDs accelerate the exposure process, greatly cutting down on exposure time. Reducing exposure time and improving screen turnaround is a highly valuable benefit in any work environment.
Light Safe Yellow Bulbs are great in the dark room where you coat your screens with emulsion. They allow you to see what youre doing without any risk of prematurely exposing your screens. Red bulbs can also be used, but we prefer the yellow bulbs because you can usually see a bit better with them.
Unlike photographic darkrooms that require total darkness, screen printing darkrooms only require that UV rays are filtered out of any light source.
BLACKLIGHT PRINT is a simultaneous printing technology using normal CMYK ink and UV light emitting RGB ink by the special RIP Simultaneous output function with different inks developed by SO-KEN using the above UV light emitting ink.
Its easy, since both types of bulbs are the standard screw in bulb type. Simply unscrew the old UV bulbs and screw in the LED bulb. Youll be able to expose a better screen with LED light than with UV light, and you wont have to break your budget to do it.
