I was actually set to find veroa sensitive hygiene uh so I designed the experiment specifically to find that dissecting these these frames um looking at The Brood maps that I had made uh and and the photographs and and it was just was not working out but the interesting thing is I had actually read Iamp;#39;d read some papers that were published earlier by the Baton R lab Harrison Harbo I believe and they were talking about Vera sensitive hygiene brood removal and then they talked about this trait called recapping so and and they they explained it basically is a byproduct an incomplete form of brood removal and that bees would open the cell caps not remove The Brood uh for whatever reason and then another bee would come in and cap it back over with with wax the interesting thing is I did not find high levels of brood removal but I did find this recap
