Smart tags are an early selection-based search feature, found in later versions of Microsoft Word and beta versions of the Internet Explorer 6 web browser, by which the application recognizes certain words or types of data and converts it to a hyperlink.
Put your cursor at the end of the text you want to cite. Go to References Insert Citation, and choose the source you are citing. To add details, like page numbers if youre citing a book, select Citation Options, and then Edit Citation.
Create a sheet of nametags or address labels Go to Mailings Labels. Select the label type and size in Options. Select New Document. Word opens a new document that contains a table with dimensions that match the label product. If gridlines are not displayed, go to Layout View Gridlines to turn gridlines on.
