Rename or delete a tag Do any of the following: Below Tags at the bottom of the screen, touch and hold a tag, then tap Rename Tag or Delete Tag. Tap Edit (at the top of the folders list), scroll down to the tags, then tap a tag to rename it or tap. .
To change the tags you see in the sidebar, choose Finder Settings, click Tags, then select the tags you want to show. Group items by a tag: Click the Group button , then choose Tags. Sort items by a tag: In any view, choose View Show View Options, click the Sort By pop-up menu, then choose Tags.
Tag an open file: Hold the pointer to the right of the document title, click the down arrow , click in the Tags field, then enter a new tag or choose one from the list. Tag a new file when you save it: Click File Save. In the Save dialogue, click in the Tags field, then enter a new tag, or choose one from the list.
To change the tags you see in the sidebar, choose Finder Settings, click Tags, then select the tags you want to show.
How to Create a Shortcut for Tagging Items in Finder Launch System Preferences from the Apple menu bar ( - System Preferences). Select the Keyboard preference pane. Click the Shortcuts tab. Select App Shortcuts in the left column and click the + button. Select Finder. Type Tags in the Menu Title field.
Add a tab stop: Click the ruler where you want the tab stop. Move a tab stop: Drag the tab-stop icon along the ruler. Change the tab type: Control-click the tab-stop icon, then choose the alignment you want. Remove a tab stop: Drag the tab-stop icon below the ruler until it disappears.
Windows File Explorer Its the same process for both versions: Right-click on the file you want to tag, and select Properties. Go to the Details tab. Click the Tags option, and enter the tags you want to add, separated by semicolons.
