The repeating section content control repeats the content contained within it, including other content controls. You insert the repeating section content control around entire paragraphs or table rows. Once the control surrounds a section, you can insert copies of the section above or below the contained section.
The default is Bounding Box, which is a large box around the control; the alternatives are Start/End Tag, which displays graphical brackets around the field, and None, which makes the field content look like regular text or graphics in the document.
To protect a content control at design time In the Properties window, set one or both of the following properties: To prevent users from editing the control, set LockContents to True. To prevent users from deleting the control, set LockContentControl to True.
Microsoft Word is great for creating and editing documents. But, if you want to restrict access, you can lock the document and password protect it. To do this, open the document and go to the File tab. Then, select Protect Document and choose Encrypt with Password.
To add a content control to a document in Word On the Ribbon, click the Developer tab. If the Developer tab is not visible, you must first show it. For more information, see How to: Show the Developer tab on the Ribbon. In the Controls group, click the icon for the content control that you want to add.
Restrict editing Click Review Restrict Editing. Under Editing restrictions, check Allow only this type of editing in the document, and make sure the list says No changes (Read only). Click Yes, Start Enforcing Protection.
Under Protect, select Editing restrictions to open the editing permissions menu. To restrict editing for the entire document, select the check box next to the words Allow only this type of editing in the document.
