in this short video I am going to show you how to print grid lines in Excel so in this example I have this data here and letamp;#39;s say that I want to print out this spreadsheet so if I want the grid lines to show on my printed document thereamp;#39;s a few different ways I can do that so the first way is to come into the page layout tab and then under sheet options thereamp;#39;s this grid line setting and you can check this box under the print section and what that will do is print the grid lines when you print your sheet the other way that you can do this is come into home and what Iamp;#39;m going to do is highlight this and then under font Iamp;#39;m going to find all borders and Iamp;#39;m going to manually add these all borders in and that will also show when we print so those are two ways to print gridlines in Excel

On the Page Layout tab, in the Page Setup group, click Margins. Do one of the following: To use predefined margins, click Normal, Wide, or Narrow. Tip: If you previously used a custom margin setting, that setting is available as the Last Custom Setting option.
You can protect the worksheet or workbook to prevent users from making changes to certain elements, including the Track Changes feature. To protect the worksheet or workbook, go to the Review tab, click on Protect Sheet or Protect Workbook, and follow the prompts to set the protection options.
To specify custom page margins, click Custom Margins and thenin the Top, Bottom, Left, and Right boxesenter the margin sizes that you want. To set header or footer margins, click Custom Margins, and then enter a new margin size in the Header or Footer box.

Under Highlight which changes, select the When check box, and then in the dropdown list, click the option that you want.
Margins are very important when it comes to binding. No margins = Text/images cut off in the binding process. For single-sided printing, we recommend a margin of 3cm on the left side and 2.5 cm on the other three sides. For double-sided printing, we recommend a margin of 2.5 cm on all four sides.
Change the margins in a cell Select the cells you want to change. Right-click the table, and then click Format Table. In the Format Table dialog box, click the Cell Properties tab. Under Text Box Margins, enter the margins you want.
To turn on Track Changes: From the Review tab, click the Track Changes command, then select Highlight Changes from the drop-down menu. The Highlight Changes dialog box will appear.
