hi and in todayamp;#39;s tutorial iamp;#39;m going to show you how to change the margins of your page for just one page in your document so the first thing iamp;#39;m going to do is go to the home tab and iamp;#39;m going to go along to this little icon here which is to show our formatting marks if i click that you can see thereamp;#39;s lots of little blue markers that come up and those will show you where all your return keys are where your spaces are and where your section and page breaks are so what iamp;#39;m going to demonstrate is to make the margins on this page much smaller than the margins on the other pages of the document so iamp;#39;m going to go down to the bottom of the page here and iamp;#39;m going to make this page a section on its own so click at the bottom here go to layout go to this icon here that says breaks click on the drop down go down to section breaks and click next page and as you can see at the bottom here weamp;#39;ve g

To help avoid this, we recommend you have a 3/8 (0.375) margin on the binding side of all pages, including inside cover pages. Smaller books may need less margin while larger books may need more. For example, if you are designing a perfect bound book, then your margins should look similar to the graphic below.
For bound books 6x 9 or smaller, use 0.5 margins on the top, outside and bottom of books, and a 0.75 inside margin. For 8.5x11 documents (bound or unbound), use 1-inch margins. Adjust margins, font size, and columns to produce 65-70 characters per line (including spaces).
Setting the Margins for Printing For single-sided printing, the left-hand margin is required to be 3cm or greater to allow for the binding process.
Add a gutter margin for bound documents A gutter margin adds extra space to the side, top margin, or inside margins of a document you plan to bind. That helps ensure that text isnt obscured by the binding. Click Layout Margins Custom Margins. In the Gutter box, enter a width for the gutter margin.
** Bound Reports are longer reports that usually have a report cover, binder, or professional binding encompassing the report. Bound Reports are fastened at the left margin, thus moving the left margin on all pages to 1.5 inches.
As a rule of thumb, we recommend that you use a 15mm margin on all edges except for the binding edge. The biding edge will require a slightly wider margin to leave space for the binding when printing your book. This prevents images and text from being lost in the fold when you open the book.
Margins. Same Day Printing advises you to use a 12mm margin on the outer edges (bottom, top, and outside edge) of your page. An 18mm margin should be used on the inside/ binding edge of the page.
Create a booklet or book Go to Layout Margins Custom Margins. Change the setting for Multiple pages to Book fold. To reserve space on the inside fold for binding, increase the width of the Gutter. You can add many embellishments to your booklets appearance. Select OK.
