Choose Insert Highlight from the Insert menu at the top of your screen. (The Insert button on the Pages toolbar doesnt have the Highlight command.) Click Highlight in the review toolbar at the top of the document.
Select some text, then click Insert Highlight to highlight some text. To change your highlight color: View Comments Changes Author Color, and select a custom color. To leave a comment on highlighted text: Mouseover highlighted text, click Add a Comment, type your comment, and click Done.
Select the text you want to highlight and the formatting toolbar appears. Use the three-dot (More) button to expand the extra formatting options. Use the Highlight colour option (looks like a pencil with a coloures underline) and select the colour you want to set as the highlight background colour of your text.
