the summer teen volunteer program is set up for high school students that are interested in wanting to come in to volunteer at the hospitals but during the school year theyre so busy theyre so involved in other activities they dont have time so we do this intense summer volunteer program for the teens the students have to be 14 years of age and they can volunteer every summer in their high school years to apply for the program the students have to submit a summer application a volunteer application and then they come in for an interview they are actually chosen to be in the program its not just because they applied will they automatically be in the program they have to have a school recommendation from their school they have to have a 3.0 GPA to be a part of the program we ask the students to give us a minimum of 32 hours for them for the summer this summers program is actually an eight-week program so giving us four hours the week will give them up to 32 hours we have students th
