Heres how to combine two PDFs: Open a PDF in Preview. Go to View Thumbnails. Select the thumbnail for the page where you want to insert the other document. Click Edit Insert Page from File (if the Page from File selection is dimmed so you cant click it, make sure that the file you have open is a PDF.
You can delete unwanted pages and move individual pages from a document anywhere among the pages being combined. Acrobat converts the pages of the various files into sequential pages of a single PDF. In Acrobat, choose Tools Combine Files.
If a PDF file is secured with an Owner-Level password, then the user cannot merge two files. To combine them it needs to be unlocked. For that, the user will have to enter the password and then the user can continue with the merging process.
