hello and welcome to the point from nav attend in this screencast well look at how to create your own zip files these are also called archives or compressed folders lets get started first you need to browse to the directory that contains the files you wish to compress into a zip file so Im going to open up a directory that I created in My Documents folder named miscellaneous you can see these four files here I want to compress these into one zip file the first step is to select the files you want to compress in my case I want to select all of them so Ill just press ctrl-a on my keyboard and then the second step is to right-click one of the selected files and choose send to and then choose compressed zipped folder itll start compressing your files and when its finished itll prompt youll be able to type in the name of the compressed directory so compress files and then just hit enter this new directory here is a zipped folder that contains these four files compressed which makes
