Navigate to the folder location where the zip file was saved. Right-click on the zip file and choose Open with Select Windows Explorer. If Windows Explorer is not an option, select Choose default program and select Windows Explorer, then click OK.
Change the default programs from the Settings. Go to Settings. Choose Apps then Default apps. Select the app or program you want to use as default from the list.
You can compress, or zip, the file in Windows, which shrinks the size of the file but retains the original quality of your presentation. You can also compress the media files within the presentation so theyre a smaller file size and easier to send.
Method 1: Right-click the file or folder, and then click Properties. Click the Security tab, and then click Edit. Do one of the following: To set permissions for a user that is not listed under Group or user names. Click on Add and type Everyone and click on OK. Give full permissions to the folder. Then click on OK.
To unzip files Open File Explorer and find the zipped folder. To unzip the entire folder, right-click to select Extract All, and then follow the instructions. To unzip a single file or folder, double-click the zipped folder to open it. Then, drag or copy the item from the zipped folder to a new location.
Click Start, click the Settings button, click Apps, and then click Default apps. Scroll to the bottom and click the link to Choose default apps by file type. Scroll down to .zip and click the program listed in the right column. Click WinZip to select it as your default zip file opener and then close the open window.
To zip (compress) a file or folder Press and hold (or right-click) the file or folder, select (or point to) Send to, and then select Compressed (zipped) folder. A new zipped folder with the same name is created in the same location.
3) Select zip-file inside multifile document and select with right-click Windows commands - 7-Zip - Open archive. Zip packet content inside 7-zip window will open. 4) Open document editor (e.g. Word) with double-click and edit the document. 5) Save and close the document.
To do this, simply right-click on your file or folder, then click Send To, then Compressed Zipped Folder. A . zip folder will appear in the same location. This gives you a nice little package of files in a single folder.
Unfortunately, there isnt a simple method to make a ZIP file smaller. Once you squeeze the files to their minimum size, you cant squeeze them again. So zipping a zipped file wont do anything, and on some occasions, it can make the size even bigger.
