Edit an invoice template Click the organisation name, then select Settings. Click Invoice settings. Find the template you want to edit, click Options, then select Edit. Make your changes. Click Save.
You can select a different template for specific transactions directly from the form: Create or open an existing invoice, sales receipt, or estimate. Select Customize in the footer. Select a custom template from the list. Select Save and close.

To write a simple invoice, create a document that includes your and your buyers name and contact information, an invoice number and date, payment due date, descriptions of the items/services youre providing along with costs and quantities, a subtotal of those fees, applicable taxes and fees/discounts, and a total
Go to the Preferences sub-tab. Now click on the Invoices preferences and scroll down to docHub the Custom Fields section. Enter the additional field that you want displayed on your invoice. You can add upto ten such custom fields for your invoices.
Go to Settings Templates and select the Invoices tab. You can edit the predefined invoice templates by clicking on the Edit button that appears when you hover over them. You can also create a new invoice template by selecting the +New button on the New Template box.
Always appear professional by including: Your business information. (name, logo, email address, phone number) Your customers information. (name, email address) The invoice number. Sent and due dates. Notes or payment terms. Itemized rows for your job description. Applicable tax and discount information.
