Hello and welcome to our Citizen Archivists. With the help of our virtual volunteers, we are increasing online access to the historical records of the National Archives. Today we will show you how to begin contributing metadata and information about our records through tagging, transcribing and adding comments in the National Archives Catalog. Once you have registered and are logged into your account, you are ready to begin contributing. If you need help with the registration process, please watch our Getting Started video. The National Archives Catalog is located at catalog [dot] archives [dot] gov. Login to your account by accessing the menu option in the upper right hand corner of your screen. Click login and enter your existing username and password. Your account dashboard will show the history of your contributions, including the number of tags, transcriptions and comments youve added to records in the Catalog. To create a tag against the tip of the current branch, specify a name in the Enter a tag name box, optionally provide a tag message, and select Create Tag. To select the branch to create the tag from, clear the Create tag against tip of current branch check box, and select a branch from the Select a branch drop-down.
Please go to Organization Settings - Users - Find your account from the list. To check project-level Create new tag definition permissions. Please go to Project Settings - Permissions - Users - find your account from the list and click it.
What is tagging and how does it work? A tag is a special kind of link. When you tag someone, you create a link to their timeline. The post you tag the person in may also be added to that persons timeline. For example, you can tag a photo to show whos in the photo or post a status update and say who youre with.
Manage Tags in Project Module Navigate to the Projects tab in the left navigation panel. Hover over specific project and scroll horizontally to the Tags column. Click on the cell and enter a tag. Select from the existing list or click enter to create a tag in the list view.
Add tags to a pipeline (console) On the Pipelines page, choose the pipeline where you want to add tags. From the navigation pane, choose Settings. Under Pipeline tags, choose Edit.
Use tags for test cases To add new tags to add to work items, you must have Basic access or higher and have the project-level Create new tag definition permissions set to Allow. for more information, see Add work item tags. You can add and edit tags when you edit a test case, or bulk edit tags in the Grid view.
How to Add Tags in Asana Click on the tag icon (represented by a hashtag) located at the top of the task pane. Select Create New Tag from the drop-down menu. Type in the name of your new tag and choose a color for it. Press Enter to save your new tag. Your new tag is now ready to be applied to any task you desire!
