hello my name is Josiah ray Im going to show you how to create a frame for a page of Microsoft Word so basically adding a fancy border around it for a certificate or birthday card something like that so Ive got Word open here and Im going to come up to the page Layout tab and under here for the page background area were going to click page borders and this is a very similar border sort of dialog box to what you would get for any kind of like a text box or the cells on the table that kind of thing and what we want to do is we can select the color for the borders and manually apply them or we can come down to art and if we select art weve got a whole bunch of like tons and tons of different images that we can have repeat around it if we click on them it gives us a little kind of demonstration and I really like the color one so like the the cherries are cake birthday cake its a very festive its kind of cool one to do as a side note if you select something underneath style so like

Either click the color that you want, or mix your own color by clicking More Outline Colors. Point to Weight, and then choose the line weight that you want.
Add a border or rule to paragraphs Click the line or paragraph (or select multiple paragraphs) where you want to add the border or rule. In the Format sidebar, click the Layout button near the top. Click the pop-up menu next to Borders Rules, then choose a line type (solid, dashed or dotted).
