In this tutorial, we explore the Garmin G3000 system in the Cirrus Vision Jet, focusing on how to enter a flight plan. From Jackson Hole to Van Nuys, we'll review planning without official clearance, using FlightAware to evaluate potential routes. By entering the airport pair, we can observe existing flights, including an active Gulf Stream. We identify the IFR route from the flight data box for our plan. The Vision Jet features the Cirrus Perspective Touch system, which includes a PFD, MFD, and three touch screens below. The center touch screen is primarily used for loading our flight plan efficiently.
