Note: If youre using a Microsoft Exchange account, you cant change the display name. Only your Exchange administrator can make this change. In Outlook, choose File Account Settings Account Settings. Select the email account that you want to change, and then choose Change.
How to change your name On your computer, open Gmail. In the top right, click Settings. See all settings. Click the Accounts and Import or Accounts tab. Under Send mail as, click Edit info. Enter the name you want to show when you send messages. At the bottom, click Save changes.
If you want to change the name thats shown in your messages, or create an email alias, click the Email Address pop-up menu, then choose Edit Email Addresses.
