Say youamp;#39;re in Pages and you want to have a simple list of things and you want to align things up. Like, for instance, here I may want to have an event, have it shown like this here, and then on the next line I may want to also have it around the same point and Iamp;#39;ll continue to add events for each day of this week. So this kind of works. But notice that these things arenamp;#39;t perfectly lined up. The reason for that is that each letter is a different width. So when we get

Rotate an object In the Format sidebar, click the Arrange tab. Drag the Rotate wheel, or enter a degree value in the adjacent field to specify the angle at which you want to rotate the object. Tip: You can also press the Command key while your pointer is over a white square on the object, then drag to rotate.
An image: Click the Background pop-up menu and choose Image Fill. Click Choose, then double-click an image file with a . jpg, . png, or .
Do any of the following to adjust the page view: Fit the pages in the document window: Click the Zoom pop-up menu and choose Fit Spread. Increase or decrease the size of the pages: Click the Zoom pop-up menu and choose a percentage, or choose Fit Page Width, which zooms one page to fill the document window horizontally.
Press and hold the Command and Option (Alt) keys. Choose Displays. You should now see the Rotation menu. Choose 90˚, 180˚, or 270˚ to rotate the screen.
Set the page orientation In the Document sidebar, click the Document tab at the top. Select a page orientation (portrait or landscape). You can use only one page orientation for your document.
Rotate or flip an image Rotate an image: Select the image, then click. (or use the Touch Bar) to rotate the image to the left. Continue clicking to keep rotating. To rotate the image to the right, press and hold the Option key and click. Flip an image: Choose Tools Flip Horizontal or Flip Vertical.
Images from the chosen folder or album are shown at the bottom of the window. Choose how you want the images to fill the screen from the pop-up menu next to the current wallpaper thumbnail. You can click the Rotate button below the folder or album name to shuffle through the images.
You can remove a background or color from an image with the Remove Background tool. Click the image to select it. In the Format sidebar, click the Image tab, then click Remove Background. If possible, the background is automatically removed.
