If you want to terminate your BMI affiliation agreement, you must notify BMI as follows: In most instances, notice must be signed by you and sent to BMI postmarked not more than six (6) months or less than three (3) months prior to the end of your current agreement term.
There is a one-time fee of $75.00 to join BMI as a songwriter or composer.

Once you have created an account, you will be prompted to complete the application process. Submit your application. Wait for your application to be reviewed. Register your works.
You can use the same business entity (e.g. LLC) when registering as a publisher with ASCAP and BMI, but your affiliation name should be slightly different with each society. Acme Publishing LLC could become Acme A Publishing LLC and Acme B Publishing LLC, for instance.
If you have forgotten your username or password, or if you find that your password is expired, you can follow the Forgot Username/Password instructions found on the login page. You will need to use the email address or mobile phone number that BMI has on file for your account.
