A pitcher must be removed immediately upon the current at-bat or the current half-inning ends, whichever comes first, upon reaching the pitch count per day. Once a pitcher throws 21 pitches (under 14) or 31 pitches (1518) in a game, the pitcher must rest and not participate in pitching.
Should any dispute arise, the primary source for final pitch count will be the official pitch counter provided by the home team. The official pitch counter cannot be in the dugout when recording pitches for the game. EXCEPTION: Tournament Play. Umpires will NOT have any jurisdiction or involvement in pitch count.
No pitcher may throw more than 110 pitches in a game or day if the team is playing a doubleheader. A pitcher will be allowed to finish a batter, only when they hit the maximum limit (110 in varsity play; 85 in sub-varsity) during an at-bat, but must exit the position after the hitter.
The home team will provide the official pitch counter (the same as in regular season games).
