How to Turn an Image into a Shape Upload a photo. Then, create a shape (like a heart) and place it over the image where you want to crop it. Select both images and slice it. Remove the pieces you no longer need.
By default, the Cricut software will try to rearrange your cut layers in such a way as to conserve material. If you dont use the Attach tool to preserve the layout, Design space will automatically place the shapes on the cutting mat as close together as possible.
